Frida - May 31, 2017
Arthouse @ NYLO
In an effort to activate our space and engage the local community, we are rolling out a program in-situ about all-things-art. ARTHOUSE @ NYLO will continue its silent film screening series with Frida (2002), the true story of Frida Kahlo (Salma Hayek) and her husband Diego Rivera (Alfred Molina), the larger-than-life painters who became the most acclaimed artists in Mexican history, and whose tempestuous love affair, landmark journeys to America, and outrageous personalities made them legendary.
Included in the ticket price is one of our featured specialty cocktails as well as an offering of chips and salsa. Individual headsets will be provided by SoundOff™ for a fully immersive experience.
The back-to-back-back screenings take place Wednesday, May 31st at 6:30PM and 9:00PM in the NYLO Library-turned-Screening-Room. To secure a spot, please reserve online. Thank you!
